NUSOD 2024 will be organized in the Gul Mohor Hall of the India Habitat Centre at New Delhi.
The India Habitat Centre is a multipurpose building in the city of New Delhi. It was the brainchild of the HuDCO Chairman, Santosh Sharma. The India Habitat Centre is one of India’s most comprehensive convention centres that is aimed at bringing individuals and institutions working in diverse habitat and environment related areas together.

The city
New Delhi, historically known as Indraprastha, is the capital of the country Republic of India and a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). New Delhi is the seat of all three branches of he Government of India, hosting the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House) Sansad Bhavan (National Parliament) and the Supreme Court (Official Judiciary Complex). It has a rich history of thousands of years. There are several UNESCO world heritage sites in Delhi, such as the Red Fort Complex (centre of Mughal power) and the Tomb of Humayun (2nd Emperor of Mughals) from the famous ‘Mughal period’. The India Gate is the war memorial to 84,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in the First World War, in Europe, Africa, and in the Near and the Far East. Apart from that, The Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace of India), Akshardham Temple, Lotus temple, National Museum, Raj Ghat (memorial complex for Mahatma Gandhi and others) are few of the famous sites visited regularly by the international tourists.
