We are pleased to announce the upcoming the anniversary 25th conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD 2025), which will be held on September 14-19, 2025 at Lodz University of Technology, Łódź (Poland). This conference aims to bring together engineers, physicists, and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest advances in the modeling of optoelectronic devices, materials, and applications.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Semiconductor lasers, Light emitting diodes, Optical modulators, Optical amplifiers, Photodetectors, Solar Cells, Photonic Devices and Circuits, Optoelectronic Integrated Circuits.
We invite submissions of original research papers and review articles in all areas related to the modeling of optoelectronic devices. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the conference proceedings. A special issue on IEEE Photonics Journal will follow the conference.
The deadline for the submission of the 2-pages abstract using the IEEE template is May 1st, 2025.
Papers presenting scientific achievements of Ph.D. and undergraduate students and presented by them are eligible for the BEST STUDENT PRESENTATION AWARD. The outstanding posters will be selected for our BEST POSTER AWARD.
In order to support scientific talents worldwide and to show our solidarity with Ukraine, three best submissions by Ph.D. and undergraduate students: two from countries where the per capita Gross National Income is USD 15 000 or less (eligible for the IEEE electronic membership after August 2025) and one particularly from Ukraine will be selected by the Program Committee. All costs of participation in NUSOD 2025, including the conference fee, accommodation in Łódź and travel tickets for selected students will be fully covered by the conference organizers.
