Travel information – New Delhi 2024

This short travel guide is divided in two parts: in the first part we offer some ideas to reach the conference venue from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, while the second part suggests how to reach the NUSOD venue from the New Delhi Railway station.

From Indira Gandhi International Airport to the conference

  1. App Cab (Uber, Ola, Blu): From IGI Airport to India Habitat Centre ~ 20 Km, 45 min.
  2. By Metro: Everyday Delhi metro railway starts operating from 5:00 AM and shuts down at 11:00 PM. Please follow the following route to reach the NUSOD venue.
    • 1st step: IGI Airport to New Delhi Metro Station via Airport Express Line.
    • Change of metro line at New Delhi Metro Station: from Airport Express Line to Yellow Line.
    • 2nd step: New Delhi Metro Station to Jorbagh Metro station via Yellow Line.
    • 3rd step: Exit at Jorbagh Metro station, India Habitat Centre is 1.6 Km away from there, accessible by local means.

From New Delhi Railway station to the conference

  1. App Cab (Uber, Ola, Blu): From New Delhi Railway station to India Habitat Centre
  2. By Metro: Everyday Delhi metro railway starts operating from 5:00 AM and shuts down at 11:00 PM. Please follow the following route to reach the NUSOD venue:
    • Exit New Delhi Railway station on Ajmeri gate side.
    • New Delhi Metro Station is in walking distance.
    • Go to Yellow Line.
    • New Delhi Metro Station to Jorbagh Metro station via Yellow Line.
    • Exit at Jorbagh Metro station, India Habitat Centre is 1.6 Km away from there, accessible by local means.
